Mighty tall mini
#1
Hi guy's
Any rule of thumb for increasing tire diameter? My son's 90 is too close to the ground for the rocks here in the NE. Lot's-o-Granite.
He currently has 18's. For giggles one afternoon we swapped the Recon's tires onto his, they fit but....too big. Obviously the taller they are, the higher his gear ratio will be. Anything I'm missing before I buy the wrong size.
Thanks

The tires on my son's LT were shot when I bought it,the Dunlap 19x7x8 were too expensive from the dealer,I put on some 20x7x8 Kenda Scorpions on it,hardly any bigger, and worked great. You should be able to change the sprockets to compensate for slightly bigger tires, and the Kendas are very light,so weight shouldn't be a problem.Order a package from Rocky Mt. ATV,and get the tires on alum. rims for even less weight. Just my $.02
