In looking at the website for Honda Canada (honda.ca) I find that not only are ATV's priced less in Canada, but they have more features as standard equipment. I looked at the 2wd versions of the Honda Rancher for comparison and found that the manual shift version costs $6399 in Canadian dollars (which converts to about $4095 U.S) and has both an oil cooling fan and speedometer/clock/odometer combo as standard equipment. Since the U.S version sells for $4399 and the optional cooling fan kit is $$279.87, and the speedometer combo is $168.11, the total cost for an equal Canadian model would be $4846.98 (and you would still have to install the optional fan & speedometer kits).

In fairness to Honda, I did not look at pricing of other models but if they offer these extra features in to the Canadian market, why don't they offer the same models here and at similar pricing.

We also get the LCD display on the manual shift Ranchers too. I believe, correct me if i am wrong, that in the US the manuals (4x4s)don't come with this. And in canada they aren't called ranchers, or Recons, but Fourtrax 350s, and Fourtrax 250s, respectivly.

THis is the only brand I know of that is different. But then again with Yammies we also get a special edition blue as an option for the Kodiak and Grizzly.
