INSTALL COUNTERBALANCER ON CR500 MOTOR ??????
#1
I found a whole cr500 in mint condition for real cheap. Y'all know what I'm thinking ;D Well I'd like to swap it into my 400ex to kick some *** but I hate vibration. But i heard about some kit that counterbalances vibration for an atv chassis ????
ANY HELP HERE ?????
Also what is a good board for motocross ?????

I am almost positive there is no way to add a counterbalancer to a cr500. Most counterbalancers are a gear driven rotating weight that requires it's own spot in the case. So, unless the cr500 has provisions for a counterbalancer already in the bottom end, it's nearly imposible.

If you can find a 250R bottom end, you can put the CR top end on it. Check out Mac Racing but it is expensive. If you can't find just a bottom end or whole motor, pick up an 85-86 ATC250R and sell the rest of the junk you don't use.

Sounds good but expensive....
I guess I could live with the power of a banshee motor...(is that my only option if I want big 2 stroke power ??? )
Possible to fit that motor in a 400ex frame.
I love the power of my banshee but the handling on this piece does not even begin to compare to the handling of my 400ex. Shock are bottoming out much more on my banshee too.
IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO MAKE A BANSHEE HANDLE LIKE A 400EX ????
OR IS IT BETTER MAKE A 400EX WITH THE SAME POWER AS A BANSHEE(USING A BANSHEE MOTOR)
