To Clean the air filter, Remove it and soak in Kersosne. Clean and then wash with soap and water. Let dry. Apply a thin layer of bel-ray filter oil. You should so this when the tube on the bottom of the air box gets fulul of crud and/or the filter can not be seen through the dirt and grass seed that is on it. Apply a thin layer of water proof greas to the rubber end on the stock filter housing to insure a good seal to the carb.
You should grease EVERYTHING that has a grease Zirk. You may need to buy a grease gun. I would suggest using bel-ray water proof grease. You put the end of the grease gun on the zirk, like putting the chuck of the air compressor to the hose.
Also Lubing up you chain is a wise thing to do. I like to use Chain-Saw Bar/chain oil on my chains because it does not attract the other crud the spry chain lubes do.
Keeping the chain tight is anothe r thing to watch out for. But dont over tighten.
