660 Grizzly - Yamaha Extended Warranty Plan
#1
Well my 6 months of the original factory warranty for my Griz is about to expire. No major problems on Griz to date, but was wondering how many of you bought the Yamaha Extended Warranty (Y.E.S.), for how much, and at which dealer. Yamaha wants $630 for 3 years, but I've heard that several of you got yours at various dealers for around $360. Is this true, could you please provide the dealers name and location? Is a YES warranty puchased in any state good/honored nationwide at all Yamaha dealers?
I have heard very mixed results regardings Yamaha's factory warranty committments, and don't really know if I want to pay a large sum of money for additional time under their extended warranty plan. If this is true, I may just let the warranty lapse and self insure?
Thanks in advance. Ron

AZ_400EX,
I don't have a Grizzly but I wouldn't purchase the extended warranty. Its not worth it going by the law of averages. I have never purchased an extended warranty and I am way ahead of their game. If I would have purchased an extended warranty for every machine I have ever owned it would be thousands and thousand of dollars.
If your scared of something going wrong take the money and set it aside in your bank account and you will have at least that much for a repair. If the money is not needed use it towards your next ATV purchase.
