Polaris + Canada = DENIED
#1
Hey guys and gals, I was very much interested in traversing the border to save some big bucks on my new machines. However, I e-mailed a few dealers, and this is one of the responses I got:
(This message is from ATC Corral, in Ontario, Canada):
Dear Customer:
I am sorry but we are not allowed to sell any new machines to US Citizens, under any circumstance.
Thanks for your inquiry,
Bill

Does anyone have any further input on this??? I really want to save some money!!

Depends on what you are buying. I have heard that Polaris and only Polaris is putting there foot down on swift Americans. I've done it with a Yamaha very recently. NO PROBLEMS.
So I say Polaris is losing out on a sale, cause if I want a 4x4 of large displacement, I just go to Canada and buy a Yamaha, Kawisaki, Bombadier, or Honda. Doing this I save Beaucoup Duckies.

I have a buddy of mine checking it out. I would like to buy a Scrambler 500 4x4 but if polaris cant sell it to a u.s. citizen for the same price as a canadian one and polaris is a american company I will buy the warrior.

A guy I work with bought a Polaris in New Brunswick. What that dealer was doing was transfering the titles to a holding company, who would then register them, so he could sell them as used, even though they were still in the crate.
