I found gas under my recoil starter housing
#1
Today I removed my recoil housing to clean it up and powder coat it and when I pulled it off the engine a little bit of gas ran out from under it.
The first thing i thought of was a bad crank seal.So I pulled the flywheel and the seal looks dry.I don't see anywhere else the gas could have came from. Anyone else have this problem before? If I can't find out where it came from I am going to put a new seal in it anyway. The engine doesn't run like its got a bad seal though.I know a seal can leak out under pressure and not leak under vacuum though. P.S. this bike is a 2 stroke .
