POLARIS SPORT 400 2X4

The sky is the limit. Just north of you by Princeton is the mecca of Polaris engine power...HPD (HPD-inc.com) for your engine gear. Also just north of you is Hot Seat (hotseatperformance.com) with a lot of great suspension mods. Add a pipe and clutch kit, these are the two best bang for the buck for the wing dings.

For fast fire road / dune type rideing, its hard to beat a warmed up Scrambler 400. I love mine and its never had a problem yet. I have been in 3 major crashes (Hill climbing), and the machine has always come out of it better off then I did.

I had a 99 Sport. I never had one problem with it. I got tired of it's weight, and wanted something with better handling, plus, I missed having a clutch. So I sold it and got a 400EX. I am much happier now. The Sport used to wear me out, trying to manipulate its weight all day long. The Sport was a decent trail riding machine, the EX is a superb trail riding machine.
The Sport does have more HP, and will win in a very short drag race, but, do your buddies call you up and say,"lets go drag race for six hours"? Throw in one curve, and the EX will stomp it.
They are both great machines, both have their ups and downs. Read up, ride up, and choose wisely.
