Which parts are interchangable from the 250R to 400EX? Other than obvious parts (wheels, handlebars, etc..)

thanks,

What that I know that will inter change are the tie rods and ends, the spindles, and wheels. You can take the whole axle, bearing carrier, caliptor, rotor, plate, and hubs. But you must use the whole works for it to change to the 400. The hunbs from the 400 and 250 are different, one has 34 and the other has 35 splines on the axle. The front bumper from the R has to be sprade apart some to fit the frame of the 400. People have taken plastic form them and switched but it is not easy. Other than this not much is the same. The 400 parts are weaker than the R parts(don't last as long). The front shocks on the 400 are about 1/2 inch longer than the R's. I have taken my aftermarket shocks from the R and put on my 400. The front end will sit lower.
