LT-Z400 $5400 MSRP

Something in writing would be preferred. Just hearing it from someone isn't good enough. If you're taking the Canadian price and converting into US dollars, that isn't good enough either. If you take the percentage of the Canadian Vinson price to US price, it's about 74% ($6599/$8899). If apply the same percentage for the Z400, it would come out to be $6200 US. So, it's very unlikely they will use the current Canada to US conversion rate (although it would be nice if they did).

Yeah, I was just using the conversion from Canadian to US dollars. Actually, I was off by about $100. The equivalent of $8400 Canadian is ~$5280 US dollars.
So, if Suzuki is asking more than $5300 MSRP, it might be cheaper to go up and buy it in Canada!!!
BTW- If you bought a Vinson up in Canada for that MSRP you quoted, it would cost you $5600 US dollars... must be nice for Americans that live close to the border!

I thought the same thing when I first did the conversion. I could go up to Canada, buy about 10 of them, bring them back to the US, and make a little profit. It's interesting that the Vinson in the US goes for $1000 more that what the conversion price would be. Anyone know if they are made in the US?

Yes, indeed it is nice living that close........My uncle bought 3 quads and 2 sleds in Canada, and swears he'd never buy anything that expensive in the US again..........Oh, he also said take American CASH to the dealerships up there, and you'll be able to get an even better deal. They like to hold onto the US money and wait for the exchange rate to go up in their favor before they cash it in, or sumthin' like that........
