In my opinion the 300EX is just as good as the 400EX.Though im not trying to put down the 400, the tougher 400 has more top end speed and for a few better handeling. The only reason i would say the 300 could match up or even be better then the 400 is in its price, handeling (in my opinion) and better suspension compared to the cheaper priced quads. I know the 400 can reach speeds between 62-68mph and the 300EX only goes from 55-58mph but do you want to spend 1000.00 or more just for 8 or more mph. Come on you can spend less then that making the 300 run 60 or more mph. This is just my opinion but im sure many either agree or disagree with me I just wanted to hear what others had to say.

This should be good because some dont know that with 1000 more dollars you can make a 300ex one hell of a quad and im sure it could run with or beat a 400EX

You cannot give the 300EX the long travel suspention of the 400 with a grand. You ESPECIALLY cannot make it as fast, AND have the awsome suspention of the 400 with a grand.

Though the 300 is a good bike, with that extra K, you get a bike with tons and tons more potential.

Along with the 400EX having much more suspention travel at both ends, and much more power, it weighs LESS than the 300EX due to the weight saving aluminum used for the swingarm, spindles, rear caliper.. ect.

WHY the 300 vs. 400 debate?

The 400 costs much more than the 300. You get what you pay for.
How come I do not see any Warrior vs. Raptor debates?

My friend has a 300 EX that has some after market parts but not $1000 worth, and he still beats stock 400 EX's. The 300 EX is a great bike and will probably stay with the 400 EX on the trails. Another nise feature is it has reverse.

I love all hondas but truely guys you cant say that the 300 is a higher performance machine. There probably isnt a 300 out there that can kill my quad in top speed or HP. 300 are good machines but for the money you can make a 400 a much better quad for alot less.....
