After reading several post about the winch brackets for the Polaris 700 {or the lack of winch brackets}, I decided to post some details on the winch kit I installed on mine last night.
I installed the Warn A2500 winch & mounting kit. Everything came in one box, includeing, winch, roller fairlead w/bracket, winch brackets, wireing {complete with conduit}, 6' remote switch w/handle-bar bracket, heavy duty contactor, and all of the bolts.
The instructions were exclusively for the 700 and easy to follow. I went step by step and it all hooked up perfectly. It says it takes approx. 60 mins. to completely install, but It took me a good 2 hours {I can do it in 60 mins. now}.
It was what I call a "clean install" and LOOKS AWSOME!

I almost ordered the Ramsey winch brackets {SilverV10 has a post about these} but I talked to my Polaris dealer again and found out that you can get the Warn winch kit for the 700 ,but you can't just buy the brackets alone till later. I'll try to get some pics up tommorrow.

I have some pics of the winch kit now,, if anyone would like to take a look.

I sure wish I would have had it installed last Fri and Sat when we rode at Fun Wheeler Park in Longveiw, cause it's a 950 acre mud-hole!!!

Scaryfast,
the fit is fantastic! polaris did a really nice job finding a place for it.
i never liked how mine sticks out on my sportsman 500s. i always have to be extra careful not to bust-out the back window of my truck while loading it! LOL
BTW, i can't wait to see a 700 in different colors. the black just looks like it scratches way to easy and shows up big time scratches. (i'm waiting for red)
see-ya,
MT
