Someone is interested in buying my 250 4x4 how much is it worth? The dealer offered me a trade of $3000 (he said he'd turn around and sell it for $3600). The little 250 has CV boot protectors front and rear, rear skid plate, fender protectors, and 2/4wd shifter.

TG1

I've been looking for a 2001/2002 AC 250 for quite some time. (Will probably get a 2X4 for my wife and either a 250 4X4 or AC 300 for myself.)

In the research I've done, the lowest price I've found is the following:

http://www.rvsports.com/atvinstock.htm

They've got a 2001 AC 250 4X4 for $3659.00 (they refer to it as a "carry-over".) Being new, it includes the 6 mo. warranty.

Hope this helps in your consideration.

Just out of curiosity, why are you selling it?
Do you have any pictures of it?
How many miles/hours, etc.?

Buckwheet,
A friend of mine wants to buy an ATV so he can go riding with his son. It doesn't really matter to me if wants it or not. If he does want the 250 then I'll get something bigger, my girlfriend likes riding and a little more pep would be great. Besides I'd like to have an auto so she can start driving more. Hopefully in time she'll want to get a wheeler of her own (already got her hooked on cats).
The little cat has roughly 300 miles on it, since I just got it in Sept. I have no complains about the machine (the dealer is another story). About 90% of those miles were racked up riding with my buddies (they all have Magnums and Sportsmans) so I have to say Cat makes a great product.
Right now I'm considering the 375, although I'm still wondering a little if it'll have enough power. Personally I don't care about speed, but more grunt in tough situations would be great.
Oh yea, I told my friend the 250's magic price would be $3400 or 3300. All in all I might be taking a little loss but it would be nice to get a bigger machine. Thanks for the help.

One other thought, I saw (on the forementioned website), that there is a used 2002 250 4X4 for $3999, so you would still be making out pretty well at $3300-$3400 for yours...
