we went riding with another guy who purchased a quest the following weekend and he had the very same problem. it would go fine until we hit a mud hole and it would cut out with the power as if like it had the choke half on. maybe maine just sells bad quests.

Intertesting. I've never had that problem myself of heard of it from any of the other Quest owners that I know. I haven't had mine in deep mud since the fall (everything is frozen here now), but when I did there was no problem with power - it had more than I needed and certainly more than the stock trailwolfs could handle. Not that this should affect the power in mud, but have your friends had their Quests checked for the maintenance programs (read recall) that Bombardier has on the Quest right now? The rear differential oil and low gear transmission should be checked by the dealer (just call you dealer with your serial number to see if the Quest is affected by either of these).
