NEED HELP FAST......REASSEMBLING CLUTCH ON RAPTOR!!!
#1
I took my clutch apart and I'm in the process of reassembling. I have the clutch disc's in and the clutch booss on with the springs tightened down to 5 ft/lbs. How come I can still move the clutch discs back and forth. there is about a 1/4" gap between the last clutch disc and clutch boss. I did not pay any attention to this when I removed it. Does anyone know if this is correct??
Thanks
Thanks

When you installed the pressure plate onto the clutch boss there is a punch mark on the pressure plate, align it with the punch mark on the clutch boss. This and make sure you have the proper amount of friction plates and clutch plates installed in the right order. I don't believe there should be any movement of disks until the clutch is engaged.

THANKS!!!!
I do have a manual. I over looked the arrow on the clutch boss. I went back and tore it apart for the 5th time and line the marks up a BAM...there it was PERFECT
Once again thanks for the info.
