CV Boot Protectors Do you have mud build up inside them?

CV Boot Protectors Do you have mud build up inside them? Is this a problem?

Mine hold mud real bad I am thinking about drilling somee holes in them.

I saw the Stick Stopper #2 it has holes in it for wash out. If you drill them let me know how it works. I think it will help.
