I've seen an ad for a conversion kit in an atv magazine (can't find it anymore) that would make an atv street legal.
I think the name of the company was "Mquad".
Has anyone else seen this? or made their own quads street legal?
If so, I would like to hear the requirements and for what state that you've registered it in.

I haven't been able to find any info on the requirements at the Wisconsin D.O.T. website.

Thanks for your help.

In Wyoming, All one needs to make a quad legal/registered/plated is to have lights and a horn. Even a bike horn will work. Thats it. No turn signals, no street tires, nothing else. I see this guy on his moded 400 Scrambler all the time. even saw him drag race a Honda car once...Funny...

I'd like to hear about this subject more. I had the idea pop in my head the other day about making my quadracer street legal. I live in Delaware and would bet that they require alot more than just a horn and lights. The rest of the stuff would be easily adapted to a four wheeler, but I hope there is nothing with the tires...later.

jejejejeje, here in argentina we don´t need anything to make quads legal for riding in the streets. u just do whatever u want, for example, the other day i was riding in the main avenue where i live and a honda 300ex started mocking me with that stinky noise and whe started drag-racing in front of a cop and nothing happened, he just watched (by the way, i smoked the 300ex)thats why i love argentina to ride atvs, i know u would also love it if u had the chance to ride here. its the best, i also like the states, in fact i have an appartment in miami and i love it, but the best place for riding is argentina, whe have all kind of surfaces to ride and nobody say anything about it.

I have the a Mag. some were that has something on it there are two kits one to make it a three wheeler (change the rear swing arm and use a motorcylce tire) and one with for wheeler. I thought it would be cool to have my 250r road legal but I'am only 15 one more year. I want to see what the law is here I have a friend that is a police man I can ask him. I will look till I find it and post it here when I find it.
