I have a 2001 Raptor, it only starts in nuetral. My freinds will start in any forward gear with the clutch pulled in. I wonder what would cause mine not to??? It is a real pain sometimes, can anyone help??

Sounds like the switch to your clutch cable is mulfunctioning. Did you remove the factory clutch perch and/or emergency brake?

I can give you a workaround to your problem but it also means that your quad will start in gear even if you don't pull the clutch lever in.

follow the two electrical harnesses behind the radiator. there you will find another spot to disconnect the two harnesses. One is a fitting. just unplug and fill connection with electrical grease. the other harness is actually two wires. unplug them. then plug the opposite ends into each other.
