Last time I rode in Meunster there was a big dispute going on between the park owner and the Olahoma land owners on the other side of the river.

Game wardens were keeping people from riding on the beach(anywhere that water used to be) and you were sure to get a ticket if your bike got in the river at all.

To me, riding when the river is down and you can travel miles down the beach is the best part of Muenster.

Has anyone been there lately? Hopefully the controversy has died down.

It looks like my plans have been cancelled for Gilmer this weekend. I am going to go riding with the ATV club up in Denton. We are going to try to go to Muenster this weekend. If anyone else wants to go they are more than welcome. I will post more details later tonight.

I don't know what we're doing that weekend, but it's worth checking into.

I have been there for the last few weekends and the River was down but all the rain might not be good for it. But the stretch was about 3/4 mile before having to cross the water.

It was good riding last weekend. But, I think you can count on the river being up this weekend. They had seveal inches of rain up that way during the week.
