I'm trying to find out the 2002 gear ratios for the raptor, people tell me they are different from the 2001. Can anyone help me out and give me the actual ratios to check them against my 01 repair manual.
Then a can calculate the actual difference. Looking to change my gearing since my shifting fork bent inside the trans. The 2001 ratios are as follows:1-2.428, 2-1.526, 3-1.238, 4-1.047, 5-0.904, R-1.750
Thanks for your help.

These numbers are from the Raptor factory service manual 2002 supplement.
1-(31/12) 2.583, 2-(30/18) 1.667, 3-(27/21) 1.286, 4-(22/21) 1.047, 5-(19/21) 0.904, R-(33/25 X 25/18) 1.833.

As you can see 4th & 5th are the same as are the sprocket sizes (40/13) & the primary reduction ratio (71/34) 2.088 the numbers next to the gear ratios in () are the number of teeth on the gears.

Hope this helps.
