too much slack in the clutch cable????

i have a new ez pull lever and perch and i put the stock cable in and tightened the lever all the way and there is still too much clask in the cable. it wont disengage the clutch. please help thanks

I was told that there is two different kinds of levers for those, and if you get the wrong one, well, you get into a simillar situation [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] . Let me know what you find out, im interested in getting one too.
