I rode my DS yesterday for about 3 hours. I get on it tonight and start it and the light stays on. Then it went dim, then out then back on. It now stays on. I just got it back from its 10 hour service and have had no problems with it till now. I did the oil bleeding and it didnt help. Any suggestions or comments?

Did your cooling fan come on, or did it seen to run hot? I assume the oil level was ok! Man, it sounds like you need to bleed the oil, but you said you already did that! Did the dealer do the 10 hour service? What kind of oil are you running? It might be a temperature sensor. The manual points to the bleeding thing if the light comes on. I'm assuming the oil level is ok.

The oil level is good. The dealer did do the service. Fan did come on as usual. Everything seems fine. Sucks I have to get work done it already. Its only about a month and half old. Any other suggestions. Thanks for all the help.

When my oil light started flickering, it ended up being a bad rod bearing at the crank. Hope that's not the case for you.

Hey, maybe Bombardier will let you take it to a Independent shop that knows the N's and out's of that motor. "Knutz Concepts" and then he can convince them that the only way to fix the light is to install a PAMI 760 kit.And ofcourse it will be covered by WARRANTY!!
