I've written so many posts on Bandits: I should have copied & pasted them. Do a search for Bandit XC's or tires & you'll find tons of info.
I run 20" XC's on my Warrior. You'll need to gear up slightly with smaller height tires.

i have them on my quadracer and i really like them so far but i haven't got to ride on them too much yet. i can tell you that they are heavy but that's the price you pay for kevlar belted tires. they slide very well and hook up pretty good, but they ride a little rough since they are a rigid tire. i got the 21x7x10 on the front and the 20x10x10 on the rear. i decided to measure them and they are actually 19.5x7x10 up front and 19.5x11x10 in the rear. if you want a low profile, puncture resistant tire, then they are the way to go. i'm definitely gonna stick with them from now on.

I have a 99'400EX with bandit xc's on it. And i absolutely love them. I used to think my ohtsu tires were good until i tried the bandits. As far as going from 22's to 20's i would say do it. You may lose a little top speed but if it seems like a problem you can gear it up a bit. But i woouldn't the lower gearing should feel better and give you faster takeoffs

yeah I think the lower profile 20" ones like the 400 ex has on it will perform better and look better
