I don't mind do much just comparing these two quads, but take a look in the kawasaki forum and all they do is bash the grizz. You rarely see this in the yamaha forums, but yes it does accure. Why can't people just accept the fact that the Prarie is a more sporier quad and the grizz is better for hours on the saddle and rough trail riding? You can't always have the best quad for everything.

I couldn't agree with you more, and I own a Prairie 650. Their both great quads, and I wish I could own one of each, but since I can't afford to own both, I just had to pick the one that suits my riding style best. That doesn't mean that the Prairie is the better of the two, it just means that it fits my riding style better. Their both great quads, so can't we all just be happy that we are fortunate enough to have the choice between such awesome machines!

I think you could have the perfect atv if kawasaki had irs or yamaha had a v-twinn.

I think the 660 is a great bike. The P-650 fit my riding style better than the 660, that's all. They are both AWESOME bikes!!!!

We love both bikes, They both have their pluses and minuses. Depends on your style of riding. I think the kawi boys are just excited cause they finally got a bike that truely competes with the other manufacturer's. My parents have the 660 and my wife and I have a 650 and eiger.

If I had to pick a machine for a long rough ride it would be the 660
If I had to pick a sport play machine it would be the 650.

Wish we were all rich... then we could have the best of both worlds!!!!

I think both are good bikes but I would go w/ the griz. It seems Kaw still does not have the belt thing down very well yet as evidenced by the kaw forum. I know the griz has has a few probs too but Yamy does have the belt aspect down pat.

It's the same with the Raptor and the DS 650. Now it seems to also be the Raptor and the canondale. All three are great quads. Raptor is a better trail woods machine, Canondale is the better MX Race machine and the Bomber is the better Desert machine. Can they all do the other things yes. Does it make one good and another not...NO. You just need to look at your type of riding and pick which is best for you.
