I did a major jump on my banshee and when i landed the throttle stuck and when i got to the bottom of the hill i took my seat off and the filter had fell off. I have the stock mounting system but the plastic peace is screwed in. Should I invest in a pro flow intake?

" I've got a 400 ex with k&n filter and big gun exhaust,"

The Pro-Flow isn't going to help you out here. You need to make sure that you tighten the hose clamp tight that hold the filter on. You would have had the same problem with the Pro-Flow.
