i have a 2000 300ex and recently bought some bolt-ons. i got a white bro. e-series silencer and k&n filter and outerwear jetted the carb up and put a splitfire plug in.it runs twice as good now. it has alot more top end power and considerably more mid and bottom end power.i got all of this from a company called golden west cycle for the low price of $299. i am totally satisfied.

any other questions e-mail me at spookaveli@hotmail.com

p.s. i dont think extending your bike would help it any actully it will reduce your handling and decrease your turning radius.

I think an Amp Link might be pretty good for it.I'm gonna get one for my 300 ex.remember it's not how much power you have but how much you get to the ground. later

I've never used an amplink, but i've heard (rumor) that they gunk up w/mud pretty easy. Not sure if it's true or not. Also u might want to go up a tooth on the front sprocket to give u a little more room in each gear, and it's only about $15. Congrats on the new quad!
