hi i was riding today though muc water and rocks and i noticed a grinding noise everytime i would hit the throttle coming from where the cv are, (or something in the back). well a few hours later the rear wheels locked up and wouldnt turn. i had to be towed with the wheels loceked to the trailer then winch onto it. can someo9ne tell me what this could be???

Did you look at your rear end to see if one of the CVs broke, or if it somehow came out of the rear end. I have a 98 SP500 and when my rear u-joints went out it made the same sound.
