cutting fenders

I am cutting my fenders on my TB and i am wonderin how and what you guys use and any patterns? help is appreciated...

It's not very hard. You can use a dry-erase marker to mark where you want to cut. Then use some aluminum or metal snippers to cut it.

Yeah, I did a little on mine last night. The left and right sides are no the same anyway, so just go a bit at a time. I have to go back and make another cut or two, but at least I didn't go to far the first time.

I also used sheet metal snips.

hey thanks. BTW besides looks what other gains can you get from cutting fenders.. Barelylegal, in what spots did you take the most weight off on your Scrambler? thanks

After making sure of your cuts to be made,accuracy mark as stated previously. I found that a recipricating (sp) saw works great( cuts it like butter, watch those fingers) and an orbital sander to smooth and round sharp edges.

Advantages are: Less weight. I know, not much, but every little bit helps. And, aeordynamics, and great looks if you do it right.
