new Scrambler 500 2x4
#1
For those of you wanting the big 500 4 stroke without the 4x4, it's on the way. My local dealer told me he has already ordered them and they will be on the way this year. This may be the one Polaris is putting out to compete with the new Bombardier DS650.
Polaris is also rumored to be coming out with a mini-ATV for the kids later this year.
Has anyone else been able to confirm these new rides?

The Scramber 2x4 is already out and in most dealers i thought. The 500 2x4 and 400 2x4 look very similar from a distance so maybe i saw a 400 2x4 at the dealer and thought it was a 500. I haven't seen the mini ATV but i have heard about it.

There is no Scrambler 500 2x4 in existence right now of course. Why Polaris would come out with a Scrambler 500 2x4 is beyond me. -Unless of course they make several other changes as well. To simply take the existing Scrambler 500 4x4 and offer one in 2x4 really doesnt make any sense.

CThorpe,
The reason they want to build them is because not every one wants a 4x4(I'm one of them), or even a 2 stroke sport machine(I'm NOT one of them). It will be the same as the 4x4 500 Scrambler without the 4 wheel drive. I believe that this is a step to eliminate the need for the 400L. With Polaris, the need for SLOWER and HEAVIER machines takes top priority above all else. Besides, with the 400L you can modify it to make more of that nasty horsepower, and they wouldn't want their owners to have to worry about that.
