..."Quit wasting time and money- just get the best and forget the rest." Basically, if you arn't happy with the best, you never will be and you don't have to buy several quads wondering "can I be happy with this even though it is a compromise?" just to get frustrated later because it isn't what you really wanted. I want the best!
With those words in mind and LOTS of penny saving behind me, today I ordered a BLAZE!
This is in no way a bash on any other manufacturers product because I firmly believe every quad/manufacturer has its high points. I am a lifelong Honda rider with 14 of 16 past rides being Hondas. For me, my riding style/locations and through quite a bit of research, the Cannondale product represents the best. My dealer has already demonstrated the excellent customer service that seems to follow the Cannondale line by, among other things, offering to drive half the distance between him and I to deliver my quad when it comes in since I live 3 hours away.
Anyway, possibly only about a week out from testing my Grandads theory. I can hardly wait!

CHAVY, Congrats on the 'Dale purchase. Let us know when you get it and what your first ride impressions of it are.
Not that we don't already know,...but I love seeing it over and over again.

Again,
Congrats.
P.S. Your grandpappy was correct.

Don't doubt your granddad's wisdom. C-dale make the most advanced quad available, albiet at a somewhat higher price than some of the others, so don't look back. I don't have one, but I test rode a 440 dirtbike the other day, and I loved it. I'm currently riding a 01 YZ426, and the Dale was top notch even though it is their "bottom of line" model. My Yamaha dealer couldn't even start my 426 when I picked it up, let alone offer a test ride.

I respect cannonDale and its technology,what i never respected were the snobs who owned there products that thought they were beyond and better then every 1 else.The other thing that turned me off to C-dale was when I read Dirtbike/dirtwheels it was stated this is not a machine for the fear of wrenches and said it was a maintenance intense machine that needed to be taken apart and cleaned everytime.I saw that I was like Oh snap fergit that,I barely have time to ride let alone wrench,plus maybe while its the best not all of us have 8Gs or more to throw away on a toy.

Sugarhead;
I in no way was trying to imply that I was better in any way. I'm just very excited and wanted to share this with everyone else. If you ever make it out my way you are more than welcome to ride with me and my friends and I am sure you wont think I'm a snob. I ride w/ 400EX's, Raptors, even a Mojave of one friend that I've enjoyed alot of seat time on. I work hard and have set this money aside for my new ride and like the others have said, I'm not looking back.
Actually I just stopped to check the forum real quick, now it's back to work! Have to pay to play!
