has anyone been to silver lake yet? If so, are they doing sound test, if so at the gate or on the dunes? and are the 2-stroke and 4-stroke dbs limits different. I know the 4-stroke is 94db.

 

every thing has to be 94 dbs at half throttle . so im done with silver lake i don't think my truck will pass much less my quads .

 

My brother and I were at S.L. 4-12-02. We saw NOBODY get a sound test. Another rider we talked to in the parking lot said he saw one truck get a sound check. Aparrently this truck was very loud even at an idle.I am not saying you won't be tested. We did get checked for spark arrestors so be prepared for that.

 

going tomorrow sweetcorn? i am. i bought lrd silencer which is two silencers put together with a spout pointing down. does anyone know if that is a spark arrestor? i'm taking my fmf in case of no sound checks. ride on. wil.

 

going asap, to see what is up, seems to rain every weekend though. All I have is an fmf for my trike, hope they let me ride it. If not I will be done withe silver too, because my 400 is louder then my 250. thanks for the replys

 

i went sweetcorn. i didnt get in my atc was down. long haul for nothing. fmf power core wont pass. they are checking for spark arrestors. duneland sells sparkies that go on over end of any pipe ever sold. $72. i didnt get to do the sound thing but am going this saturday. weather sucks doesnt it? they dont check every single quad and fmf q series doesnt get checked. keep in touch.
