New Hampshire sport quads
#1
We are running out of places to ride sport quads in NH, they closed Litchfield sand and gravel, Canterbury closed last year (this place was awsome) I want to find out if it is open this year, Sanford Maine I heard closed, all of the State sponsored area's stink (Rockinham trail the worst).
Does anyone know of a good place to ride?
Thanks

I've heard about a place off of Ex 18...I just never knew it was called Canterbury (I never been there yet).
I meet up with some guys from Shapliegh, ME that told me about the "law" patrolling Sanford.
The rocky pit is where I park (off New Damn Rd).
The only Blueberry that Iv'e seen were at the high tension lines

I used to park by CYRK across from Sanford airport, opposite side of the river from the rocky pit, good pavement drags on the road where we park, we would then ride over to the power lines where that flat track is next to the small sand pit.
I only parked in the rocky pit once, my quadracer dies crossing that 2' deep river everytime.
How much is the Maine reg now?
Are there any other good places to ride with 1 hour of the Ma,NH border?
Thanks

Maine Reg. is just $13 for the year. Call 207-287-2043. This is the direct number to the Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Dept. that deals with ATV registrations.
I never found a "flat track" in Sanford.
I've been across that river many times. It's a fun place to hang out and watch all the people cross or try to cross. I hate going thru it because I run without an air-box lid. The good part about that river crossing is that the base is all rocks and not mud. This makes it a lot easier to see where the deep spots are.
I went to Abbot Mountain a few weeks ago. It's near Shapliegh, ME. We rode out of "Boonies" that is on Rt11
