Anybody have any experience with splitfire plugs in the 400ex. I plan to get a uni filter, jet kit, and WB E-series complete exhaust system, all of which will be installed at once, just wondering if the plug will do much with the other stuff I am putting on.

I have not tryed one in my 400, but I used to race go-karts with 5 hp briggs motors and I could feel a diffrence in it. It picked up about 4 mph.

Splitfire = Snake oil

Ask em why they were sued by the fed trade commission or just go here:

This is on Magnecor's website, a well respected racing plug wire manufacturer.

Splitfire work good in side valve engines like a B&S becase they burn the mix better in those poorly designed things, but in a RFVC honda, no improvment at all!!! stick with the stock NGK

Remember electricity takes the least path of resistance. Those commercials where the spark jumps back & forth are BS. It may burn on both of them but not to that extreme.
