Trail Tech Speedo Accuracy
#1
When I was out tuning the other day, I broke out the GPS to test the new installation. Much to my surprise, just from doing a little math for the tire diameter setup, the speedo was only 1mph off. Gonna have to see how it holds up. Anyone else out there had one on for a while?

I have had mine for a year and it has held up real well. As for accuracy, I have it dialed in on the county roads up here and it is pretty close to right on (as close as my truck). The only problem I have had with the unit is when you get water down under the unit and on the connections, it will go crazy on you and start reading like 80 miles and hour. You just have to pull it off the mount and wipe the it off and it is fine again. Doesn't happen very often. I have tested it on some long rides (50 + miles) and it is always very close to the other atvs with factory speedo's.

I have one on my Raptoid as well. I've only had it for about a month now. I really like all the features on it. It is very accurate in my opinion. The only time that I have noticed it being a little off is in the sand (with the stock front tires) on higher speeds due to front tire floating and lifting. If you put more of your weight on the front to help the fronts grab better it will read alot more accurately on the sand.
It is a great addition to any quad.
