Has anyone seen the new Z400 in action or raced one yet with a raptor? curious to know what the outcome was.

 

Well last sunday I was out at Sand Lake (in Oregon) and was getting some races in up the first bowl and I saw this bright yellow quad roll down the hill... So I rode over to see it and it was a Z400... I think it looked kinda cool. So I asked the guy how long he had it blah blah and asked if he wanted to give it a run up the bowl agiants me. He said sure! so we lined up and revved um up.... I pulled him from first gear and when I was at the top I looked back and was about 2 quads ahead of him. We raced a few more time and the out come was the same. I think if it was piped and jetted it would have been close. but Stock for Stock the Raptor pulls it. I found 1 more Z400 out there before I left and I beat him about the same if not by more.

It looks like a good soild quad from what I saw though and I bet with mods it could hang with the big bad RAPTOR!!!!!

Unique did you race the Z400 on a stock or piped Raptor???

 

efg claims that he saw a Z400 beating raptors through 300ft ( dirt ) at a local track. me and mussa ( armed with video camera ) are going to see this feat saturday nite. if its true, then you can bet that we will have video up soon!

 

I'm sure the z400 is a solid machine, but efg's claims seem to be a bit much. I will be looking forward to seeing some video.

 

i really dont know if its true either but one of my freinds up there that has a 400ex said the z-400 ran in his class and took second place running a 5:8

I didn't realize just how fired up I could get some of the Suzuki owners in here. I guess I didn't realize that I was starting a flame war and appoligize to those that I have pissed off, I'll give Suzuki some credit for the Zilla, but that's it. The Banshee as well as the Raptor are still KING, so untill Suzuki bings back the Zilla they will still be running 3rd place to Yamaha and Honda.
