KingRaptor - There is a 454 kit for the C-dales that will suposedly eat those 686 and 760 Raptors. I did say suposedly, because thats what I have heard. Honestly, I hope a 686 will out run a stock C-dale... thats a 254cc advantage. But as far as a short drag race (out of the gate and to the first corner... MX) I have NEVER seen a Raptor piped or stock, keep up w/ me. Maybe I just have those starts down good, because I have gotten first in the holeshot over highly modded Shee's, R's, Lt's, EX's, Raptors, and even a Moto 440, on my completely stock C-dale... unless you wanna count shaved fenders and nerf bars as a performance mod .

You know, I am glad that there can be these discussions/arguements now. About five years ago, all we had was the Banshee. It warms my little heart to hear all the DS vs Raptor vs Z400 vs 400EX vs Cannondale, etc, etc... Back when I had my 250R I thought that the sport was on the way out. I am glad that I was wrong.

I have a Raptor, mildly tuned, and I like it. I was just happy to be able to walk into a dealership and purchase a new hi-po sport quad. I think that I wouldn't mind to own any of the other new hi-po sport quads out there. Hopefully in another five years I can look back and think of what limited selections we have now. Things are only going to get better...

Well I ran my C-Dale against my brothers Z-400 up Utahs Sand Mtn today. We don't run paddles, because we don't hillshoot. Never ran paddles on my Raptor either. HMMMMMMMM I'll keep it to myself. You'd be surprised......The Z is a better duning quad we will say that.

Mr350X, those 500s must just get faster with age because when they were new of the showroom floor they got waxed by 100% stock Banshees. This is not my opinion, this is fact. I'll leave this discussion now since you are the great all-knowing ATVer who resorts to name-calling when faced with facts.

BTW, I have seen nothing posted yet about Cannondales that I can't agree with. They are obscenely fast, seem to be fairly maxed out from the factory, and I love them! Once they start showing up used for about half price, I *WILL* own one!!

Okay, I had to add that "used for half price" bit because my wife was sitting next to me. I hope to get one this summer.

White347LX:

You are wrong.
I will post a new thread in this forum to end this argument.

He's right. The Quadzilla is the fastest production quad ever. Undisputed king.

350X is right on the money, i have owned both the banshee and LT500 and know for sure 100% that the QUADZILLA would eat the banshee ,it would destroy it for out right power, but if a banshee was given the room to hit 6th gear it would slowly real the big 500 back in because of it higher gearing, not power. This is from a person who has owned and loved both bikes.

14mins and King Raptor- You put 2-3 grand in your machine because stock it wouldnt cut it,to beat a machine that cost the same and is 228cc less than mine. Its obvious that we each bought our machines for diffrent reasons. You bought your for drag racing and I bought mine for Mx. You would be able be beat me in a drag but you wouldnt stand a chance on the Mx course.
