Hi Guys
How did you guys like your DS650?
I am planning buy DS650. Are they too wide for the trails? I ride on the trails and some roads opps. I heard the are heavy I don't really care.
I am fonusing if DS650 are good on the trails.
I love the way they look!
If they are too wide for the trails, I will plan to buy 400ex but I want 650 they are faster than 400ex and better looking!

Thanks for your time.

Are the woods flat or hilly?

Are the woods dense with trees?

When I have been riding on some woods trails, I have had to stop and get off the DS650 to back it up and point the front end straight through a narrow opening between 2 trees. Smaller ATVs that I'm riding with seem to manuever a little easier in these conditions. For me, the DS is more fun to ride in open areas where you can hit the gas and feel the acceleration. The DS will not be any faster than a 400EX in tight woods riding. 400EXs can be highly modified to double their stock HP. I would look into the riding areas near you and make a decision based on the amount of riding you will be doing on tight woods trails at slow speeds vs. riding in more open areas. If you like to do wheelies, the stock DS takes some skill where as the 400EX is a snap for wheelies.
