Will someone please explain sprockets to me and how they change the gearing? Going bigger on the back does what and going bigger on the front? Suggestions on the size i should use. I only plan on adding a full exhaust system and straight paddles for now.

bigger rear sprocket gears you lower(lower top speed). bigger front sprocket gears you up (more top speed). 22" tires don't beary up as easy in the sand.

The best way I can explain it to you is to tell you to go ride your 10 speed bicycle. You know how you can change sprocket sizes on the front sprocket, the largest one will give you more speed ,But is harder to peddle. and the smaller one is EASY to peddle but you don't go as fast on top end. And the rear spocket works the excact oppisite as the front. Just think of yourself as the motor, and find a "Combination" of front and rear spockets that will allow your leg strength(motor) to give you the speed you want, without loosing power UP hill.

Well, I'm sure I have confused you even more, but I'm sure someone will make what I said make since.
