If you putting down that kind of cash...you shouldn't have to pay no longer than 3 years...it depends on how much you want your payment to be...the more you pay per month, the faster you can pay it off. The bad credit might ruin this whole thing for you...depends on her credit score. It will be hard to get a good deal on the new Z400 because it's an all new quad & the shop will sell everyone they have...at full price. Expect to pay about another $800 or so for taxes..shipping charges setup fees & DMV registration fees. I bought an 02 Banshee last Dec & paid $6150 out the door..which isn't bad considering it retails for $5999. Shop around...you might find a good deal. Later.................

If your putting down nearly $3,500 on a $5,200 machine, I don't see the bad credit being an issue. To the bank, you are taking a loan for $1,700 on a new $5,200 machine, so even if you were not able to make your payment, the bank would reposes your machine, and get much more than the $1,700 they loaned you including their lost interest. So, in a situation like that, they will generally take the risk and give you the loan.

You should be fine. A $1,700 dollar loan for 3 years (if you want to go that long) would probably put you around $60 or so dollars a month including taxes.

Damn, looked what you've done, you mad me sound like a Banker!!!!! ahhh!!!

Have fun with the Quad.

I thought you sounded more like a salesman that works at the bank part-time.
