Earlier Knowsalot and others posted on the discrepencies with regard to the Transmission viewer window and the overflow bolt. While I was talking to Cannondale about my new engine and such I asked the question how do some models with lower serial numbers have the see-thru viewrer and others have the bolt. HE said it had nothing to do with when it was made. They get their engine casts from two different companies/suppliers. They are exactly the same but one guys uses the see-thru window and the other uses the screw. I asked which one would be on mine, and he said he couldnt tell, as it hadnt been made yet, but both are produced side by side.
Just an FYI,

Seems to me that with all of the windows on most of the bikes now you should get one .
