Does anyone make a tach with a shift light for the DS? I wonder if one for a motorcycle would work?

Stock limiter for your yeller bike is set at 7700rpm. I've not seen any shift lights in tachs. My tach has a light though, for night riding!LOL
I assume you want it for drags. It does become more and more easy over time to shift in the right spot, and if you have, or get, a tach, it becomes easy to watch the needle and shift when it hits the right spot too. At first you keep forgetting its there when you need it, but eventually you can't keep your eyes off it. I really like mine.

Sweet. Where did you get yours? How much was it? I like the idea of a shift light because you can keep your eye on more important things, like guys on 400ex's that come out of nowhere and hit you head on(bad experience at Haspin about a month ago)

Sorry dude, I was horsing around about the light, its just a back light, to illuminate at light.
I had the dealership order it from Bomb, a kit - tach, rubber mount, connections. All you have to do is cut the hole in the dash (make it perfect, or order the Baja dash with the hole in it), and stick it in, plug in the wires. Cost me $109, but I think they went up - maybe $200 now, not sure. You can check it out at Badlands...

I knew what you meant by the night light, I was just hoping someone made one with a shift light. I just bought some Ohtsu radials for the rears. Will they work well at Badlands?

Radials rule that roost! You'll love them, I mean absolutely love them. 4psi is what I run in them. 3 gives even better traction, but increases the chance on rim damage from hitting rocks and such.
Ohtsu fronts are super sweet too - you otta put them on your wish list. The handling is greatly improved, but they also give such a smooth ride, its amazing. very soft, plush.
