What are these torx bolts on the engine? Are they metric or SAE? It doesn't seem the metric ones I bought fit just right. Is there a purpose behind them? What ever happened to good old fashioned bolts?

I have used metrick torx on my fx.They changed to metrick heads on newer modles.
