RWR 45 mm Carb Question

I bought a 45 mm carb kit from Ron Woods the other day. I was wondering If I should leave the pump spring in tacked.

Congrats on the 45...I have the RWR carb and love it. This is just my opinion, but I removed the pump spring and installed the lighter RWR main return spring. With a twist throttle it is extreemly smooth.
