HI!! I have an 86 TRX 70 for my kid. I removed the pull start and then the aluminum piece that the pull start engages. Now I have what I think is a rotor. It spins with the motor and is supposed to have the timing mark on it. The reason I want to take it off is to hit it with the wire brush so I can find the timing mark. It has light surface rust on it. I know it takes a special tool that threads in the middle to remove it. But the dealer says to just use a flat puller and thread into the four bolt holes and pull it. Any ideas?? Would that be ok?? Thanks in advance.
