Anyone broke the rear mount holding fenders down, on a raptor??
#1
I rolled my raptor over, and the left rear fender now sits a lot higher bc the bracket holding it down broke off.(the actual metal bracket is bent, but the plastic piece on the fender that the metal piece attaches to is ripped right off). What should i do. Brake the other one off so they r the same, or is there something diff. i can do. Thanks for the tips. broken collarbone and cracked scapula also occured bc of this MASSIVE crash.Theyll heal, and yes i was wearing a helmet

OUCH I bet that hurt. The first crash on my raptor resulted in the same thing. Bent the bracket and pull the plastic tab right out of the fender. I tried to epoxy it back but it didn't hold. It took some tweeking to get the fender to sit like the other one. Mine was about 2.5 inches higher than the other. Now you cant tell that it is broke. O and I also bent the handle bars, both outter tire rods, both of the rims were bent from hitting the back of the lower a-arms, bent the steering stem, twisted the splines at the bottom of the steering stem, broke the reverse **** loose, and bent the back grab bar. All from doing a wheelie in third gear and letting it get away from me.
By tweeking the fender I meant pushing it towards the tire.
I know that some body shops that work on cars have plastic welders. You might look into tring that route. The problem that I ran into was the plastic welder welded in black. Wrong color for my white plastic.

Mine did the same thing, I glued it and that worked for a while, then it and the other side broke while riding in the mud. I just took both all the way off and have had no problems like that, they only flop around a little more, just try not to let alot of mud build up on them! Not much else you could dod without buying new plastic, only to have it happen again most likely.
