what could be wrong?

what could be wrong with my blaster? i put in all the right oil and all that stuff. and if i leave it idle for a little bit about 2 minutes later it goes offf by its self u have to keep giving it gas..and yes its warmed up when it does that to. anyone else have this problem?

it sounds lean like a vacuum leak between the carb and intake.
Or maybe the air filter is bypassing or even stopped up. If the
rings are gone it could have low compression and can't make enough
power down at idle to keep itself going. Have you got any water or
mud in air inlet lately?

Generally speaking, 2 strokes don't like to idle for an extended period of time. You probably don't even have a problem. If you know you are going to sit for a couple of minutes, you should just shut it off.

Right on, hell my CR WILL NOT idle! 2-strokes are made to be raced. Not idled, cruised, or anything like that. But I love to ride those bad boys. All you need to do is give it hell and it should act right again. Then, if not riding, turn the mother off. Good luck.

ya what he said my blaster never would idel for a long peroid and it got all the best Shell 93, Bell-ray Tranny oil, Klotz premix at 32:1 etc,etc,etc
oh ya new rings every six months new piston every 12
ya get my point
