Axis shocks
#2
I do not know for sure but when I called Axis they told me they had just not started making the no link shock for the C-dales. Mike Walsh has the only one to my knowledge ever made for a C-dale. Im sure they will make them sooner or later.

Personally, I think Axis is overrated. For the price you pay, I do NOT think they're worth it. Elka had made TCS's bodies, and now they've split off to their own product. I believe with Axis, you are spending $500 on the name, and the name alone. After I bought my Lonestar +2+1's, I sat in a chair looking at them in a box, and said to myself "That is not worth $800" It's just like buying Nike's.

lonestarbanshee- Thats insane!!! I have had the chance to ride quads with many different shocks. Axis, PEP, TCS, Elka, Ohlins, Techno Flex, and Works. Axis is the best by far. The quality is top notch and the performance is awesome. Now I am talking about the 19" long travel Axis shocks. PEP, Elka, and Ohlins are close to the Axis and the Techno Flex, TCS, and Works want cut it for the big times but will do most amatuers very well.
Are you talking about the A-arms not being worth it or the Axis shocks? If you are talking about the Lone Star a-arms you are right. You can get long travel Houser a-arms for $800.

Ahhhh, I have to disagree. Suspension is everything in a race at a Pro/"A" Level. Axis are very well built shocks. Are they too much for the average guy.....yeah. (I'm not saying your not a good rider or anything) But, they do a heck of a job.

Tell me how many Pro/A riders you see running anything but Axis, PEP, Ohlins or the new Elka Suspension. The other shocks just dont cut it on that level of riding. My long travel Axis shocks let me fly through anything.
lonestarbanshee- Remember when we were talking and you thought Swan was rough and I told you Swan was one of the smoothest tracks I have ever been on...Most of that is because of my Axis shocks. What shocks do you run?

Todd, yeah, I remember that chat. I know they're great shocks, I just dont think that they're worth the price, compared to other ZPS style shocks.
And, I meant that the a arms arent worth $800. No way are they worth $800.
