Everything seems great in/on her. This kids have been riding her for a few weeks now. The top end looks like it was replaced, it is black, not red like I think the engines are supposed to be. I replaced the spark plug, it was a little black, not wet black after riding, already black. I installed a split-fire plug, as the kids ride it slow, figured it would help. Also, turned the idle down a little, and am running the mixture 32/1. I live here in the high desert, but.. the kids never open her up more than 1/2 throttle. When you rev it up, its clean, no hesitation. Is the mixture correct??? I also replaced the coil boot, it was cracked. I noticed some 2 cycle oils state they are for marine, and some say all purpose, and difference??? I dont want to freeze up the new top end if it was replaced, well even if it wasn't [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
What about running synth for the gear/trans oil?? what weight does everyone run??
