HI all,
I just received the latest (August)4 Wheel ATV Action and it said the staff was invited to Georgia to test ride a new quad. In a round about way, they said it might be a 650, using the Kawasaki powerplant, along with 4 wheel independent suspension. These rumors have been floating around for a while, but this article kind of lends credence to the rumors.

My dealer told me that he heard they may bore the Kawi engine to a 750 and put it on an improved KingQuad chassis. They discontinued the KQ so now they need a quad with the same features. He also said that they might put the Kawi 650 in a Vinson and give Kawasaki a 500 model which they don't have.

 

a 750 Twin, independent UTE with a locker front, built in GPS, EFI?

Now that would be nice.

Suzuki is coming out with 650 v-twin from SV street bike line. It's 645cc liquid cooled. IT"S NO NO Kawi 650. It will have IRS too. I am sure it will look like Vinion because they look really good! But hey it's still no GRIZZLY [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Rumors and more rumors. Starting to sound like the Honda forum!!

 

I thought there where some spy pictures out a while back that showed kawasaki having a sport quad with the 650 twin in it. This was with a gear box instead of the CVT. Does anyone remeber this??
