i have a 02 blaster with toomey exhaust and want to put a hydralic brake and big bore kit in it. i ride alot of trails and hills and was wandering how it affects the powerband and i know i will need a longer swing arm as my tires are already off the ground as i like to sit back to try to get more traction but how much longer should i lengthen it . i also want to know if there are any easy mods as im not sure if im going to keep it or move up to a z400 any help would be appriaceated

 

Madhandlez- Hey i have a 97 blaster bored .40 over with pro circuit pipe and pistons. I would suggest a 3 inch extension on the back. Also adding on wheel spacers wouldn't hurt if you going to add the rear extension anyway. It sucks you got the 02 model with the 03 model going to kick total ***. O well drive it like you stole it!

thanks im thinkin bout a wheel extensions but was told that fliping the tires would extend it an inch or 2 any onw know if that puts stress on the axle or aarms or will i be fine with it

 

ya you can flip the tires in the front it adds 3 inches. Just make sure your not doing any big jumps or it will put stress on the wheel spacers and extentions.
